Out of State Dhamma Services.
Buddhist Vihara Dhamma services are not restricted to Washington DC. Every year they go to other States to perform Dhamma activities. This picture was taken after a two day religious service at the residence of Dr.Nihal and Dr. Sarojini Gunaratne in Chicago.

Many important Buddhist Monks living from the East Coast to West Coast gathered for the opening ceremony of the new residence of Dr. Swarna Jayasinghe in New Jersey.

Most Venerable Batuwanhene Buddharakkhitha Kande Vihare Nayaka Maha Thera  and Ven. N.Amarawansa Nayaka  Maha Thera of Sri Lanka Vidyalaya, Colombo were among the special guests visited the Vihara this year.

Venerable Soma’s Dhamma Talk was one of the most important events happened at the Vihara this year. He is a brilliant student of our Founder Patron Most Ven.Madihe Pannasiha Mahanayaka Thera.
